Under Mouse Properties in Control Panel, (the location varies in different Windows versions,) you can see what the current cursor. Possibly caused when a program crashed or by a buggy program. the standard triangle and stem arrow or the hourglass). For now, the flux option did the trick for me. In both Windows 7 and 10 I have this extremely annoying issue where the mouse exhibits a constant spinning circle (cursor) - as if the system is busy doing something.
* Checking game integrity on steam (I have done that after playing around with the mouse cursor settings) - it did reappear but only worked once for me, so probably a coincidence writes: ' Dear Dennis, I recently upgraded to Windows 10 prior to that I was running Windows 7. Things which may or may not had something to do with it reappearing a few times: * Randomly in the game (during the first few hours after changing systems) The mouse cursor issue is a weird one for me.
